A Biblical View of the Earth

Welcome

This site presents the cosmology of the Bible as it is written.

For thousands of years, the dominant reading of Scripture among believers described a flat earth, bounded by a firmament above, sustained by divine foundations, and surrounded by waters. That reading was not a failure of science. It was a faithful reading of the text.

Today, that reading has been set aside — not by new revelation, but by a gradual shift in how the text is interpreted. The language of the Bible has been re-read through the lens of modern cosmology, and passages that once seemed straightforward have been reclassified as metaphor, poetry, or "phenomenological language."

This site asks a simple question: what does the text actually say?

What This Site Is

A presentation of the biblical model — the earth, the firmament, the waters above, the foundations, the celestial sphere — as described in Scripture and as understood by the believers who first received and preserved that text.

A collection of historical sources: Church Fathers, medieval cosmologists, clergy statements, and modern believers who have examined the text and reached the same conclusion.

An invitation. Every claim made here is accompanied by its source. You are not asked to believe what you read. You are asked to look at the text yourself, consider the evidence, and reach your own conclusion.

What This Site Is Not

This site is not a mockery of astronomy or modern science. The people who built telescopes, launched satellites, and wrote the textbooks are not the target of this work.

This site is not a conspiracy theory. No secret cabal is accused of hiding the truth. The argument here is textual and historical, not institutional.

This site does not ask you to reject your eyes. It asks you to ask: have you actually looked? And when you have looked, does what you see match what you were told you should see?

Begin Here

Questions — Honest questions the globe model has not answered.

A Note to the Reader

You will find that this site is written calmly. That is intentional. The case does not need volume. The text is clear. The history is documented. The observations are available to anyone with eyes and a willingness to look.

Take your time. Read what interests you. Follow the links. Come back with questions.

The ground is solid under your feet. The sky is above you. The text is open.
