About — The Purpose of This Site

The Purpose

This site exists to present the biblical cosmology as it is written in Scripture. Not as it has been reinterpreted. Not as it has been reclassified. As it is written.

It exists because the text is clear, the history is documented, and the observation is available to anyone with eyes — and yet the reading of the text has been set aside, the history has been obscured, and the observation has been dismissed.

This site is not a movement. It is not an organization. It is not a debate club. It is a presentation. The text is here. The history is here. The voices are here. The observations are here. You are invited to look at all of it, and to reach your own conclusion.

The site does not ask you to believe. It asks you to read. It asks you to look. It asks you to investigate. The conclusion is yours to reach.

The Webmaster

A former member of the LVAAS board of governors, the site's author spent over two decades in active involvement with amateur astronomical society. A thorough re-examination of the biblical text led to a fundamental reassessment of the traditional globe model.

This site presents that reassessment honestly, without mockery, and invites the reader to investigate for themselves.

No further personal information is provided. The text is the author. The observation is the argument. The reader is the judge.

A Statement of Intent

This site is written in the conviction that the biblical text is a reliable description of the created order. That the people who wrote it, received it, translated it, and preserved it understood what they were reading. That the cosmology they described is the cosmology the text presents. And that the reader is capable of reading the text, looking at the horizon, and reaching the same conclusion.

The site is not hostile to modern science. The people who built telescopes, mapped the stars, and wrote the textbooks are not the target of this work. The target is the assumption that the text must be reinterpreted to accommodate a scientific model. The target is the dismissal of the text without engagement. The target is the mockery of the person who reads it.

The site is written calmly because the case does not need volume. The text is clear. The history is documented. The horizon is flat. The water is level. The moon is a disc. The sun is a lamp.

The ground is solid under your feet. The sky is above you. The text is open.

Investigate.

You have read the text. You have read the history. You have heard the voices. You have looked at the observations. You have sat with the questions.

What you conclude is yours alone. No one on this site will tell you what to think. No one on this site will laugh at you for thinking it. No one on this site will dismiss you for asking the questions.

The text is open. The horizon is flat. The water is level.

Look for yourself.
